Google Brings Multitasking Feature to Gemini Chatbot

Google’s ever-developing artificial intelligence tool, Gemini, is gaining multitasking features.

Google developed Gemini AI to compete with ChatGPT. Over time, the development of this tool continued, and today it has become a part of many Google applications and services. However, until now, Gemini was only used with a pop-up.

Google is now working on making this tool easy to use for multitasking. Hints of this feature can be found in a recent beta update.

Google moves Gemini out of a single window

In the past, Gemini could be used as a pop-up at the bottom of windows. In the Gemini beta 15.26.3 version, traces of the multi-window function are seen. Users who activate a flag in the beta can open Gemini in dual-window mode. It is also possible to move this window around the screen. When we stack two windows on top of each other, we can access two different Gemini windows simultaneously.

This breakthrough makes it possible to benefit more from Gemini on many devices, especially foldable ones. Thus, workflows can be made faster. Consequently, users can utilize artificial intelligence tools more creatively.

It is not yet known when the new feature will be released, but the fact that it is in beta indicates that we may not have to wait too long. On the other hand, when we look at the codes, it appears that this feature may be exclusive to Samsung devices.
